How It Started... 

Joon Market began as a passion project during the pandemic. Chef Seth Helmly and his wife, Saba Rahimian, moved to California from 2020-2022 and opened a restaurant to create something positive for the community during  that difficult time. The menu below is a sample of Chef Seth's creation that awarded him the title of "Sacramento's Best Up and Coming Chef" and "Best New Restaurant of 2021" one year after they opened Joon's doors.  Though life brought Seth and Saba back to Austin, the spirit of Joon lives on -- now through private chef dinners, events, and menu consultation.
